At DRI International events, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations and guidelines for behavior to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved. By attending DRI International events, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. All participants are expected to abide by this code as well as DRI International’s Code of Ethics for Certified Professionals.

Respectful Behavior

A.  Treat all participants, speakers, organizers, and staff with respect, professionalism, and courtesy.
B.  Be mindful of your language and conduct, refraining from any form of discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
C.  Encourage and promote an atmosphere of inclusion and diversity, valuing different perspectives and experiences.

Professional Conduct

A.  Act in a professional manner at all times, refraining from disruptive or inappropriate behavior that may negatively impact others’ participation or the overall event experience.
B.  Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the policies and procedures set forth by DRI International.

Collaboration and Networking

A.  Foster a collaborative environment by engaging in constructive and meaningful interactions with other participants, speakers, and organizers.
B.  Respect others’ opinions, even when they differ from your own, and engage in open-minded discussions and debates without resorting to personal attacks or disrespectful behavior.

Protection of Confidential Information

A.  Respect the confidentiality and privacy of others’ information, including but not limited to personal, proprietary, or sensitive data.
B.  Refrain from recording, capturing, or sharing any session or event content without proper authorization from DRI International.

Compliance with Event Guidelines

A.  Follow the guidelines and instructions provided by the event organizers, including but not limited to venue rules, session guidelines, and safety protocols.
B.  Adhere to any specific event policies or codes of conduct communicated by DRI International for a particular event.

Reporting Violations

A.  If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, notify the appropriate authority and/or fill out this form.

B.  DRI International is committed to addressing and resolving reported violations appropriately and maintaining confidentiality to the extent possible.

Consequences of Violations

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in a range of actions, including but not limited to warning, expulsion from the event without refund, restriction from future events, and, in serious cases, legal action in accordance with applicable laws.
