The industry awards presented by DRI International are known as the Awards of Excellence, and are awarded in categories to recognize the people, teams, and service providers who have achieved a level of excellence in the fields of continuity management, technology recovery (TR), and crisis management, as nominated by the people who know best: their peers. The awards are presented during a gala dinner and ceremony during the DRI conference.
- Submit a nomination: It’s easy to nominate people, teams, and organizations/companies. Click on Submit a Nomination to create an account and get started. Nominations are open now through Thursday, October 29, 2026.
- Awards categories: The Awards of Excellence are made up of 10 categories.
- Judging process: Our judging process employs a secure online voting, submission and review mechanism.
- Cast your votes: DRI Certified Professionals in good standing can cast their votes through the Voting Booth when logged in to their DRI account. Voting is for two categories only – Lifetime Achievement Award and Service Provider of the Year. Voting is open from November 20, 2026 to December 11, 2026.
- Finalists announced: The shortlist of finalists will be posted on the Award Finalists' page. Finalists will be announced on Friday, December 11, 2026.
- Winners revealed: The winners will be revealed at the Awards of Excellence Gala dinner on Tuesday, February 23, 2027.
