Auction Benefit

The DRI Foundation Auction Benefit & Cocktail Reception during the annual DRI conference raises funds for disaster recovery, education and community resilience projects. Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, the Foundation has supported resilience efforts in various communities since 2011. 

You are cordially invited to a festive evening at the DRI Foundation Auction Benefit & Cocktail Reception at the annual DRI conference. The cocktail reception begins at 6:30 PM. on Tuesday evening so get ready to place your bid.

Drop by the DRI Foundation booth during Expo Hall hours to win more prizes. All proceeds provide disaster relief to impacted communities. And remember, everyone is a winner!

The DRI Foundation Auction Benefit event provides attendees with the opportunity to bid for items on display, such as memorabilia, vacations, events, electronics, health & beauty items, and much more.  All proceeds of the live, silent, and online auctions go towards disaster recovery, education, and community resilience projects. The DRI Foundation Auction Benefit is held at the annual DRI conference right before the Awards of Excellence Gala. Please see the Event Schedule for the date and time.

Unlike many auctions benefitting charitable organizations, we do not sell tickets to attend; however, if you aren't fortunate enough to make the winning bid, there are a number of ways you can aid those impacted by disaster. Feel free to make a monetary contribution on site.

Cash, check and credit cards are all accepted at the live event. Receipts will be provided for tax purposes. All donations are tax deductible. See whether your employer will match your contribution (and/or your volunteer hours) at Double the Donation.

Yes! Registration is free and we highly recommend pre-registering for the auction benefit. Pre-registration allows you to have all your information ready to go so you can start bidding as soon as you arrive! Check back for the pre-registration link. 

The DRI Foundation accepts donations of items and services to auction off at the event, which you or your organization can offer. You may also make a tax-deductible donation to the DRI Foundation. • Place your bid
• Bid number, name, and cell phone number are required
• Visit your item of interest frequently
• Don't be out-bid on the item you want
• Please settle payment with the Cashier as the auction will close at 8:00 PM
• You are legally obligated to pay the bid price if it is deemed final
• We accept payment in the form of cash, checks or credit cards
• All items must be taken with you unless otherwise indicated
• You can arrange for shipping directly with FedEx located in the hotel
• All donations are 100% tax deductible

• You will receive an auction paddle
• Each paddle will have a number associated with it and tracked with your name
• Live auction will begin at 7:15 PM
• Raise your paddle high with the number facing the Auctioneer to signify your bid
• You are legally obligated to pay the bid price if it is deemed final by the Auctioneer
• Winners will be announced by the Auctioneer when the highest bid has been accepted
• Payment must be settled with the Cashier before moving to the Gala
• We accept payment in the form of cash, checks or credit cards
• All items must be taken with you unless otherwise indicated
• You can arrange for shipping directly with FedEx located in the hotel
• All monetary donations are 100% tax deductible
