Organizational Resilience – The Missing X Factor

Resilience has become a somewhat elusive concept, often defined with intricate jargon, akin to a magical word that promises to guide organizations through challenging situations. A fascinating concept, indeed.

If we go back to the basics, BCM enables an organization to recover from planned events/incidents. However, the term resilience requires an organization to have special capabilities to be able to withstand and recover from difficult and fast changing situations. Therefore, merely having BC or ITDR plans is not sufficient to achieve true resilience. It requires that something extra to be truly resilient.

Therefore, the question remains: What is that “something” an organization requires to be resilient and how can one implement and achieve resilience? Attend this session for the answer!
