Efraim Wielgus has over 35 years of experience in the IT industry and spent the last 15 years in disaster recovery business continuity, crisis management, and pandemic management. He is responsible for maintaining disaster recovery plans and conducting disaster recovery exercises to ensure readiness when a natural disaster strikes.

Wielgus has designed and built a disaster recovery isolated environment where live production images of servers, databases, and websites are brought up without disrupting the live production environments and the day-to-day operations. Lately, he has been working on strategies for recovering the production environments to be ready for ransomware attacks. He has also completed a project relocating some of the disaster recovery tier-2 applications to the cloud.
