Margaret (Marge) Inscho

Tri-State Canine Response Team

After completing 25 years as a nationally-certified school psychologist, upon retirement, Margaret Inscho began volunteering with Tri-State Canine Response Team with her canine partner, Abigail. Over four years, they completed more than 600 local therapy dog visits, seven national deployments after mass causality incidents, and provided support during numerous local callouts after tragedies occurred. Unfortunately, Abigail passed away during February of 2023. Inscho’s newest canine partner is Millie, a Mini Australian Shepherd. She is quickly learning the job and has already completed one national deployment, in Lewiston, Maine, as well as various local visits.

In addition to being a School Psychologist, Inscho is certified as a NJ Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), is a lead team member for the Traumatic Loss Coalition in NJ, and is certified as a Gatekeeper Trainer for Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training.
