Ronald Adams is Vice President, Cybersecurity Fraud Fusion Center for Fidelity where he leads a team of professionals focused on enhancing awareness and heightening collaboration across Fidelity’s diverse lines of business in order to reduce the firm’s vulnerability to cyber and fraud attacks, and minimize damage to the firm in the event of a breach.
Previously, Adams was senior vice president for Citigroup’s Citi Service Center. In this role, he was responsible for the management of all investigative activities, with a focus on cyber-enabled fraud and emerging risks. Prior to joining Citi, Adams was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service (USSS). During this time, he was the senior-most operational agent in the USSS’ Cyber Intelligence Section, supervising the investigation and capture of international cyber criminals. These included the investigation of multiple high-profile cyberattacks on the financial and technology sectors. With an extensive background in computer forensics, Adams was as a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and served as subject matter expert on cyber development and liaison to Washington INTERPOL. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a degree in Criminal Justice.
