Business Continuity Planner, UCLA
Tara Brown is UCLA’s business continuity planner and she works with campus departments to prepare the University to continue its operations in the event that buildings, IT, or staff become unavailable. As a multi-generation Angeleno, she is proud to be a part of a university that contributes to the greater good of Los Angeles, California, and to humanity as a whole. This is why she believes in the importance of business continuity planning, so that UCLA is there for you when you need us most.
Brown has been awarded the UCOP Spotlight on Collaboration and Innovation for her work with the UC Ready software and her expansion of Travel Insurance Program at UCLA. She is a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) and holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM). She also holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration.
