Thomas Sutherland is a Senior Business Resiliency and Facilities Analyst at Arch Capital Services (ACS) LLC. He is responsible for managing the business resiliency program and overseeing the real estate management technology. Sutherland has experience designing, planning, and implementing business resiliency strategies in financial, real estate, and technology firms. His diverse experience in both the private sector and the military enables him to be a clear communicator and valuable problem-solver.

Prior to joining Arch Capital Services, Sutherland led the business continuity and disaster recovery program for Tangoe throughout Asia, Europe, and North America. He also supported Rocket Mortgage by providing expertise to businesses across the family of companies to inspect and enhance their business continuity and crisis management programs. Additionally, Sutherland previously served as a logistics officer with the Unites States Marine Corps and is a recipient of the DRI Foundation’s Veterans Outreach Program Scholarship.

He is a Master Business Continuity Professional (DRI) and holds an MBA from Wayne State University, as well as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Saginaw Valley State University. He currently serves as the President for the Michigan Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP).
